iOS App | Swift Server API | Co-Founder

Instint is a new productivity application for parents and their teenage children with privacy and a sustainable rewards mechanism at its core. Sonali and I came up with the plan to develop Instint after her search for a good chore-management app for her kids did not end well. While there are more than a handful of apps to manage chores and rewards for completing them, all of them fell short in one way or the other. Instint is our take on an app that seeks to maintain a fine balance between motivation and self-discipline.

Sonali is an excellent UX architect, while I love all things iOS. From the beginning, our goal has to establish a foundation that is best-in-class when it comes to engineering as well as user experience. The preliminary brainstorming underwent a range of customer surveys completed by kids as well as parents. We met experts in game design and learning behaviors. We tried out a bunch of different apps to draw out a list of do's and must-avoids. In the end, Instint is going to be built completely from scratch using SwiftUI and server-side Swift. It's as much an exercise in learning full-stack development as it is in making an amazing productivity app for families.
